Mouse 30 Walnut #1513. This Mouse 30 features a semi-hollow alder body, with a beautiful one piece curly maple top. This is a “drop top” model without binding, so it has a generous arm contour. I like this one piece tops in that it gives a really nice flowing look to the bass. The 30” scale neck is made from eastern black walnut with an aged Indian Rosewood f.b., featuring the integrated thumbrest option. The tiny mandolin sized frets introduce only a small amount of metal into the string path, so the sound is very full a warm, and due to the very low profile of these frets, the action is very easy. A locally made (in Los Angeles) custom form fit case is included.
