Mb-2 Walnut Fretted Bass #1516. This Mb-2 features a semi-hollow body made from very light swamp ash, with the f-hole option and faux tortoiseshell binding. The top wood is reclaimed Claro walnut from Northern California. This upgrade piece has a nice flame pattern, with brown, red, tan, black and everything in between. The 34” scale neck is made from black walnut, with an aged Indian Rosewood fingerboard. The tiny mandolin sized frets have a very low profile and play super easy. By virtue of the fact that there is very little metal in the string path, the tone is very warm and woody sounding. A custom form fit case, made locally in Los Angeles rounds out the package.
