Mouse 30-5 Five String Bass # 1507. This Mouse 30-5 features a semi-hollow swamp ash body (gorgeous 1 piece!) with a two-toned eastern walnut top with faux tortoiseshell binding. The 30” neck is made from eastern black walnut with an lined ebony fingerboard, with the integrated thumbrest option. This bass is strung low E to high C with La Bella 760n strings, which are a steel flatwound with a thin black nylon outer wrap. The high C is made special to my specification with extra silk in the interior to fatten the sound, so that the tone is consistent throughout the whole range. A locally made (in Los Angeles) form fit case rounds out the package.
