$0.00

Mb-2 Myrtle #1535. This fine Mb-2 features a semi-hollow alder body with a beautiful flamed Myrtlewood top, with celluloid faux tortoiseshell binding. Myrtle is also called Bay Laurel and is found in the Pacific West Coast. This is old stock, harvested back in the 70’s, I have made many basses from this exact stock and it has a very pleasing sweet high end that is very full and round. The 34” scale neck is made from eastern rock maple with a light flame pattern and a quartersawn cocobolo fingerboard and matching bridge. The strings are RotoSound Tru-Bass 88, they are a steel core flatwound with a thin black nylon outer wrap, for a smooth feel and very robust sound. A deluxe quality gig bag with an internal frame is included.
