Solid 4 #1666. This Solid 4 features a 1 pc. swamp ash body with a translucent vintage blond nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The 34” scale neck is made from eastern rock maple. The fingerboard is Brazilian rosewood, with vintage sized nickel frets.

The aluminum hardware is all original design and made in house, the bridge is set almost a 1/4” into the body for direct connection with the wood. The aluminum bridge saddle housing sits on two location pins anchoring it to the bridge plate, so there are no moving parts or adjustment screws- the bridge saddle in essence connects directly with the body. This produces a strong fundamental, and plenty of sustain. Controls integrated into the bridge design are volume and tone.

The pickup is also made in house, and is a vintage wind with alnico 2 rod magnets.

Strings are La Bella 760 FS (flatwounds)
