Mouse 30 Walnut #1514. This Mouse 30 features a semi-hollow alder body, with an exhibition grade Claro walnut top (one of the nicest I’ve seen, one of a kind) reclaimed from a downed walnut tree in Northern California. As you can see, the color spectrum in this wood is fantastic, it has brown, red, tan, black and everything in between. This is a “drop top” model without binding, so it has a generous arm contour. The 30” scale neck is made from eastern black walnut with an aged Indian Rosewood f.b., featuring the integrated thumbrest option. The tiny mandolin sized frets introduce only a small amount of metal into the string path, so the sound is very full a warm. A locally made (in Los Angeles) custom form fit case is included.
