Mouse 30 Walnut Short Scale Fretless Bass #1604. This fine Mouse 30 bass features a rare one piece swamp ash body, and an eastern black walnut top, with a mild arm contour, sans binding. The color reminds me of coffee with cream and the top has a beautiful open grain quality. The 30” scale neck is also made from walnut with an eblony unlined fretless fingerboard featuring the integrated thumbrest option. One of the benefits of an unlined fingerboard is that the lack of saw cuts (for frets or lines) results in exceptional resonance. The semi hollow lightweight ash body combined with the walnut neck makes a very punchy yet warm sounding instrument. A deluxe quality form fit hardshell case (made locally in Los Angeles by G&G) is included.
