Mouse 30 Walnut #1502. This Mouse 30 model features a gorgeous 1 pc. semi-hollow swamp ash body, with an eastern black walnut top, with the f-hole option and no binding. The 30” scale neck is made from birdseye maple, with an unlined macasser ebony f.b. Side dots are located right on the poistion; F, G, A etc….the f-hole slightly softens the attack of the note, plus adds some bloom and complexity, plus maybe 10% more acoustic volume. The unlined necks are perhaps the most resonant, due to not having any interruptions (i.e. saw cuts for the maple fretlines). This bass is full and round, while at the same time totally resonant. A custom made form fit case from G&G in Los Angeles rounds out the package.
