Mouse 30-5 Five String Bass# 1524. This Mouse 30 features a semi-hollow swamp ash body, with an eastern black walnut top, and faux tortoiseshell binding. The ash body on this bass is actually two pieces, although I had to look several times myself because I thought it was a once piece! The 30” scale neck is made from eastern black walnut also, with a lined ebony fingerboard featuring the integrated thumbrest option. The bass is string from low E to high C. I have the C strings made special to my spec from La Bella (the oldest string maker in the US!), they add extra silk to the interior of the string to fatten it up, so that the bass keeps the same tone through the full range of the instrument. This Mouse 30-5 comes with a locally made form fit hardshell case.
