Mb-2 Walnut #1552. This Mb-2 bass features a very nice (and rare) 1 piece, semi-hollow swamp ash body back, with an exhibition grade Claro walnut top. This walnut is reclaimed from downed trees in Northern California (near where I was born in San Jose) from a good friend of mine who had a business harvesting fallen trees…..I obtained a quantity of it and have been aging it since the early 2000’s. The 34” scale neck is made from eastern black walnut, and the lined fingerboard and matching bridge are made from ebony. A deluxe quality gig bag is included.
