Mb-2 Walnut #1538- this Mb-2 features a semi-hollow swamp ash body with a black walnut top and celluloid faux tortoiseshell binding. The 34” scale neck is made from black walnut with a lined Ebano fingerboard. Ebano is a man made product derived from sustainable ebony wood fibers, it is more consistent and stable than ebony lumber, looks identical to the very best ebony, and is eco friendly. This is not for cost saving, it is just as expensive as lumber!~ just doing the right thing for our forests and endangered wood species. This bass is strung with Roto Sound TruBass 88 strings, which are thick and robust sounding, they are a steel core flatwound with a black nylon outer wrap. A deluxe quality gig bag with an internal frame is included.
