Deep 5 Koa Fretless Bass #1504. This Deep 5 bass features a semi hollow alder body, with an aged koa top (50 years+), sans binding. The pattern on this wood is subtle, but with beautiful depth in person, it has an almost velvet like 3d quality to it. The 35” scale neck is from black walnut with cocobolo strips, this 5 pc. construction makes an extremely stable and even sounding neck. The bass is strung from G to low B. The lined fingerboard and bridge are from ebony, and a custom made form fit case from G&G in Los Angeles is included.
