Mb-2 Koa Fretless #1476. This Mb-2 bass has a semi-hollow 1 piece mahogany body, a curly koa top (aged 50 years+), the f-hole option, and faux tortoise shell binding. I really like the super clean look of a 1 piece body back, and this mahogany one is no exception. the 34” scale neck is from lightly flamed eastern rock maple. The matching bound headstock features the same koa wood as the top, and the lined fingerboard and bridge are from macasser ebony. A locally made custom form fit case rounds out the package.
