Mouse 30 Maple Fretless Short Scale Bass #1469
Mouse 30 Fretless #1469. This fine Mouse 30 features a semi-hollow mahogany body, with a premium quilted maple “drop top”. The lack of binding allows for a more generous arm contour. This particular piece of western quilted maple is of the highest grade, and 3D from every angle. The 30” scale neck is from eastern rock maple with a lined fretless Goncalo Alves fingerboard and matching bridge. The strings are La Bella 760C. These are very similar to the stock black 760N strings that I use on most instruments, however the winding is copper (instead of steel) and the outer nylon wrapping is clear nylon instead of black. The sound is very similar, only slightly warmer/rounder sounding. A form fit custom made hardshell case completes the package.
