Mouse 30 Fretted Koa #1472. This Mouse 30 features a semi-hollow alder body, with a curly koa “drop top” sans binding. A more significant arm contour is possible without binding. The curly koa top is from material aged 50+ years. The 30” scale neck is from lightly figured eastern rock maple, with an aged Indian Rosewood fingerboard (featuring the integrated thumbrest option) and matching rosewood bridge. The frets are a tiny mandolin size for great playing comfort and warm tone. The outer black nylon wrap on the La Bella 760n strings keeps the frets from getting worn, so even though the frets are very small, they will last nearly forever.
