Mb-2 Myrtle 4 String Bass. This fine instrument features a semi-hollow swamp ash body with a flamed myrtle wood top (also called bay laurel from California) and faux tortoise shell binding. This particular wood is from old stock, aged since the 70's, and the color that you see (yellow/gold/olive) is the true color of the wood, no stain is used. The 34" scale neck is from birdseye maple, with a lined Gaboon ebony fingerboard (naturally jet black), and matching ebony bridge. A custom made form fit hardshell case is included.
